Bush challenged hundreds of laws
President Bush has
quietly claimed the authority to disobey more than 750 laws enacted since he
took office,
asserting that he has the power to set aside any statute passed by Congress
when it conflicts with
his interpretation
of the Constitution. He did this through the misuse of Executive
Signing Statements.

Changed social security laws
In 2008 the Social Security laws were
changed. Social Security tax is no longer taken from your paycheck once you
hit $102,000, you no longer pay into the system. That in itself does two
things; 1) puts the burden of social security on the poor and middle class,
and 2) will now vastly restrict the incoming flow of money to the program,
essentially killing it dead very quickly.
